W niecały tydzień udało mi się skleić dziób oraz ogon modelu Me-262. To oznacza, że miałem bardzo dużo czasu, ale także to, że te segmenty nie należały do skomplikowanych.

In less than a week, I made the nose and tail of the Me-262 model. That means that I had a lot of time, but also that these segments were not complicated.

Oba segmenty posiadają bardzo rozbudowany szkielet, ale dzięki zestawowi laserowo wyciętych wręg montaż przebiegł bardzo sprawnie. Jeżeli chodzi o przednią część kadłuba mam nieodparte wrażenie, że była ona zaprojektowana pod otwarty przedział uzbrojenia, którego ostatecznie w modelu nie ma. Mimo to, jeżeli ktoś miałby ochotę, może bez przeszkód go dorobić. Komora przedniego podwozia była bardzo prosta. Pasek za paskiem, oklejając je na szkielecie powstała skorupka, która sama trzyma swój kształt :) Do środka należało jeszcze wpasować wyrzutniki łusek, otwory wylotowe działek oraz szkielet. Na tym zakończyły się prace nad nosem. Prace nad ogonem również przebiegły sprawnie. Tutaj, zgodnie z instrukcją skleiłem tylko część skorupy, a resztę elementów okleiłem już na szkielecie. Dokleiłem jeszcze stateczniki poziome i połączyłem kadłub w całość. Retusz w kilku miejscach wyszedł za ciemny (nosek, łączenie przed statecznikiem pionowym), ale z tym już nic nie zrobię. Stery wysokości i kierunku skleję później, pod koniec budowy. Teraz czas na skrzydła. I tu zaczną się schody...

Both of sections have a complex framework, but thanks to laser cut frames set, montage proceeded fast and easily. I think that at the beginning the nose was designed for opened guns compartment, but the model hasn't it finally. However, when someone wants to make it open, he can do it without any problems. Front gear hatch was also very simple. One after another, the parts of covering came on the framework and the shell was built. I had to put some details into it: shells ejector, cannons outlets and at the end the framework. The work on the tail was also easy. Here, according to the instructions, I made only a part of the covering and put the rest of the parts on the framework. I also added horizontal stabilizers and connected the hull to the whole. Painting (retouch) in a few places is too dark, but I will leave it as it is. I will make the elevators and the rudder later, at the end of build. Now it's time for wings. And here the challenge is about to begin...
